Richard Mendoza is the Senior Director, Privacy & Regulatory Compliance for the Anywhere Real Estate. Richard manages the data privacy posture of the organization, along with governance, risk, and compliance initiatives including but not limited to GDPR, CPRA, PCI-DSS, and NYDFS. He brings to this role more than 20 years of experience in systems engineering, information security, and the management of internal and external audits. Throughout his extensive career, he has focused on reducing overall risk exposure and infrastructure redundancies through the promotion of best-of-breed security and support practices involving efficient service processes, enhanced security postures, and reduced risk vectors.
Richard is a certified information systems security professional (CISSP), certified information systems auditor (CISA), certified ethical hacker (CEH), certified in risk and information systems control (CRISC), healthcare information security and privacy practitioner (HCISPP), certified information privacy professional (CIPP/US), certified information privacy professional (CIPP/E), and certified information privacy manager (CIPM).
