Hans has been working in various types of security for 17 years, from COMSEC to INFOSEC to CYBER. Most applicable for this coffee learn, Hans just defended the Information Security Program he started from scratch against a DCMA DIBCAC High assessment and passed a day early with a 110/110. He is currently Director, Cyber Operations for BlueHalo.

Description of Meeting: 

This month's meeting will not be a traditional lecture. Instead, the BOD has decided to try a hands-on training session. If the feedback is positive, we'll have follow up sessions in September and October.

Step up to the plate and secure a small business from as the first dedicated IT/InfoSec hire!

Over the next three months, we will Observe and Orient ourselves to the environment, then Decide, and Act in the interest of our new small business employee.

• Review and interpret existing artifacts, such as; SSP, Policies, Procedures, Topology Diagrams, Employee Tracker, Asset Tracker, Third Party Tracker, Existing Tools and Capabilities
