Rob van der Veer

Rob van der Veer is an AI pioneer with over 33 years of experience and Chief AI Officer at the Software Improvement Group. He is the elected co-editor of the AI Act security standard and the main author of ISO/IEC 5338 on the AI lifecycle. Next to founding the security standard hub OpenCRE.org, Rob founded the OWASP AI Exchange at owaspai.org, effectively open-sourcing international AI security standardization. He is an advisor to governments, enterprises, and institutions worldwide, and has delivered over 300 speaking engagements on AI, security, privacy, and software engineering.
